Volusia County Parks and Recreation - Summer Fun in Ponce Inlet

The Daytona Beach weather can be pretty warm in the summer, well it is Florida what do you expect, right?  How about taking a plunge and going for swim, its fun and refreshing and will help get the kids tired out! LOL  Why not check out, Lighthouse Point Park located in the Southern most part of the Town of Ponce Inlet

Lighthouse Point Park is 52 acres of fun with nature trails and if you are lucky you'll spot some of the wild life that has been seen such as raccoons, opossums, armadillos, skunks and other animals.  Colorful butterflies and lady bugs love the natural habitat.  For the bird lovers you'll see shore birds, birds of prey, owls to name a few and for the serious bird watcher check out the birds from the observation tower that is close to the Inlet.

Equipped with restroom and pavilions, Lighthouse Point Park in Ponce Inlet your children will not only have a lot of fun but be very comfortable too!  Not only will a day in a Volusia County Park be fun it will be educational! If you are curious as to the landscape surrounding the park, you'll see the Atlantic Ocean and the Halifax River, Ponce DeLeon Inlet and the skyline.  With all these things to do in Ponce Inlet, you could possibly spend an entire day there.

BTW, think you need a change of scenery or are relocating to Ponce Inlet?  I'd be happy to help!
