The top selling tips for selling your Port Orange home is important.  Not everyone has to same taste so it's important to look at the home you are selling with a buyers eye.  Here are some useful tips to help you get your Port Orange home sold.

  1. Consider repainting the inside of your home with a real estate buyers taste in mind.  It's better to be safe than sorry just remember a couple of things.  Lighter colors are neutral and when it comes to home decor easier on the buyer.  Neutral colors allow rooms to appear larger and there is a certain flow that happens with neutral colors.  Remember dark colors makes rooms smaller and cozy.
  2. Why not consider painting the exterior of your property.  Powerwash and then choose colors to compliment your home, a fresh paint job outdoors will improve your home's curb appeal.
  3. Clean up the clutter and depersonalize, for a real estate buyer its difficult to see beyond the clutter and sometimes things that are important to you such as decorations or the family photos can be a distraction for a potential buyer.  Cleaning the clutter and depersonalize a home will help the buyer visualize it's their new home!
  4. Torn screen can make a big difference in how a buyer sees your home.  One of the easiest things to repair and very affordable.
    What about the doors that stick?  Consider if you were buying a home today and you couldn't get the front door open.  A simple fix and sometimes all it requires is a little sandpaper and WD40. 
  5. Change your bathroom and kitchen faucets, something so little can make a very big impact on what a buyer sees in your bathroom or kitchen. 
  6. Its not uncommon for a home in Florida to have sliding glass doors or screen doors.  Clean the tracks and repair or replace the screens.
