Daytona is all about the beach. There are many activities to do. But sometimes you just want to chill out. A good idea may be to visit one of the many parks in Daytona. Whether you want to go fishing, hiking, or just want to take in some nature, Daytona offers it all.
If you really want to get to the great outdoors, you should try Tiger Bay state forest. This over 27,000 acre park offers hunting, fishing, camping, and hiking. It has equestrian trails and even an equestrian campground complete with stables. Check with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission for permits and licensing.
If you want to go to the beach and still enjoy nature, try one of Daytona’s many beach parks where you can swim, hike, or just lay around taking in the sun. You could also try one of Daytona’s historic parks like the Dunlawton sugar mill. Whatever you enjoy you can enjoy doing it in one of the many Daytona Beach parks.
