There are many things to do in Daytona Beach that are FREE!  Besides the sunshine and the beach there are other fun things to do in Daytona that doesn't cost a thing.  Vacationing and living in Daytona Beach is quite affordable and open the door to brand new experiences in Volusia County.

  • Back in 1940, there was a theme park called Bongoland which offered large life size dinosaur statues.  Today Bongoland in Port Orange Florida is known as Sugar Mill Botanical Gardens located at 950 Old Sugar Mill Road.  Once a theme park in the 40's, today you can experience the botanical gardens that sit on 12 acres.  You'll find nostalgia, beauty and pure nature when visiting Sugar Mill Botanical Gardens.
  • If you are an animal lover and nature lover, pack a picnic and enjoy Tuscawilla Park which is located off of Nova and Orange Avenue in Daytona Beach.  Nature trails and a nature center provides residents and visitors a glimpse of some of the beautiful plant life and animal life.  Tuscawilla Park is conveniently located near the Museum of Arts and Sciences.
  • Enjoy a warm afternoon at Sun Splash Park on South Atlantic Avenue in Daytona Beach Florida.  Sun Splash Park is a oceanfront park that offers a water fountain where kids can splash and play safely.  You'll enjoy a shaded playground with picnic areas, rest rooms and volleyball courts.  4 acres of sun and fun right on the beach!

Daytona Beach offers many things to do for FREE and are enjoyed by visitors and residents alike.  Looking for a beachfront condo in Daytona Beach Florida, while they are not FREE :) prices have never been better and I don't believe this will last forever.  Check out waterfront condos for sale in Daytona Beach down below and feel free to give me a call for area information or to see one of the great values in luxury condos right on the Worlds Most Famous Beach!
